Shrimp Stir Fry

Shrimps are coated in a delicious sauce and stir fried with colorful and nutritious vegetables. This shrimp stir fry recipe is quick and easy to make with affordable and simple ingredients that come together in a beautiful dish bursting with flavor. Originating in China, this technique of stir frying has been around 1,500 years ago. Enjoy this recipe with a sprinkle of sesame seeds on top along with rice or enjoy simply on its own.

Ingredients:

  • 250g shrimp peeled and deveined

  • 1½ onions thinly sliced

  • 3 cloves garlic crushed

  • 750g mixed vegetables*

  • 1 bell pepper sliced

Sauce

  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds

  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce

  • 1 tablespoon water

  • 3 cloves garlic crushed

  • 4 tablespoon sriracha (or any other hot sauce)

Notes:

*You can use any stir fry vegetables, but we used broccoli, cauliflower, and bell pepper
