Whole Wheat Dinner Rolls

This is our first recipe we are posting on this website. We make this recipe consistently in our house. We have been making these dinner rolls and making them delicious every time. These whole wheat dinner rolls are buttery and so much healthier than the normal ones you buy at the store. We hope you love it as much as we do.


Yield: 8 rolls

Prep time: 3 hours

Cook time: 35 minutes

Total time: 3 hours 35 minutes




Ingredients:

  • 1 cup milk (or non-diary milk)

  • 2 ¼ teaspoons yeast

  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar

  • 1 egg

  • ¼ cup unsalted butter* (melted)

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 2 ½ cups whole wheat flour

Notes:

*if using salted butter, just omit the salt.
